Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Guhit collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run a social drawing app, drafts stay on your phone, and we don't sell your data.

1. What we collect

• Account info: when you sign in with Google or email, we receive your email address and name. You choose a public @username.
• Content you publish: artworks (3D stroke data), photos you attach, captions, hashtags, comments, likes, and follows are stored on our servers so other users can see them.
• Device push token: if you allow notifications, we store a Firebase messaging token to deliver activity notifications (likes, comments, follows, mentions).
• Drafts: unpublished artworks and their photos are stored only on your device — they never leave your phone until you publish.

2. Camera and AR

Guhit uses your camera and Google ARCore to place drawings in your space. The live camera feed is processed on your device for AR tracking and is not recorded or uploaded. Only photos you deliberately take and attach to a post are uploaded.

3. How we use information

• To operate the service: showing your posts, delivering notifications, powering search and feeds.
• To keep the service safe: moderation and abuse prevention.
• We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

4. Where your data lives

Published content and account data are stored with Supabase (our database and file-storage provider). Push notifications are delivered through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Sign-in is handled by Google and Supabase Auth. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

5. Sharing

Content you publish is public: anyone using Guhit can see your username, avatar, posts, comments, likes and follower counts. Unpublish or delete a post to remove it from public view and our servers.

6. Your choices

• Edit your username and avatar in the app at any time.
• Unpublish or delete your artworks from your profile.
• Turn off notifications in your device settings.
• To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below.

7. Children

Guhit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child is using the service, contact us and we will remove the account.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves; material changes will be announced in the App.
